Hope Baptist Church Sunbury Claim

Hope Baptist Church Sunbury is an Independent Baptist Church Located in the small vineyard City of Sunbury, North-west of Melbourne, just 10 minutes past Melbourne airport and a gateway to the Macedon Ranges. Planted in 2016 by Faith Baptist Church in Fawkner victoria.

We have the privilege to share and to tell of the wonderful hope and joy found in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was a son given (Isa 9:6) that all men would come to him that they might have life (Jn 5:40), and have it more abundantly (Jn 10:10).

Knowing the Saviour through his word and salvation gained by faith through his name (Jn 20:31), trusting further in the blessed hope of his immanent return (Tit 2:13), and charging ourselves with the sharing of the gospel of his grace to all people (Mk 16:15), is the summary and sight of our local Independent Baptist Church. If learning to share the Gospel and growing in confidence in God’s word is what you desire, this certainly is that which you should expect from this church.

If your desire is to know his word, what it teaches and how your life can gain the greatest of hope and joy through it (Rom 15:4, Jer 15:16, Lk 8:15), then know that this is the principal purpose of this Church for you (Mt 28:19).

While the world distracts itself with many endeavors, some noble and some unprincipled, Hope Baptist Church desires only to carry on as servants undertaking to continue that which the Son of God, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, came and died for, to seek and to save that which is lost (Lk 19:10), and to make true joyful and active disciples of all who have put on the Lord Jesus (Rom 13:11-14).
